46-47 follow the indications for first designation controls as recoverer/recycler, but when assessing compliance with the TSRM only consider the non-conforming parameters. The quality control on bulk material involves the following steps: 1. Take a sample of about 250 kg. To do so take sub-samples in several stages of the production line or press feeding line (if these currents are not the same) with approximately 50 kg of material. 2. Separate the materials manually. The total weight of the sample is obtained by adding up the weights of the selected materials. To weigh the materials, a suitably calibrated and/or verified precision scale is provided. 3. Check that the materials have been correctly selected. 4. Record the results on a sheet prepared for this purpose (Quality Control Sheet). 5. Controls resulting from annual programming: after analysing the material, compare the total percentage of non-targeted materials obtained in the analysis with the total non-targeted materials limit set in the corresponding TSRM. If this value is exceeded the material will not comply with the specifications. Controls due to first designation as recoverer/recycler: after analysing the material compare this with the indications of the corresponding TSRM and check compliance with specifications. Controls resulting from non-conformities: in this case, follow the indications for first designation controls as recoverer/recycler, but when assessing compliance with the TSRM only consider the non-conforming parameters. Production control Apart from the production control performed by ECOEMBES at each of the light weight packaging sorting plants, each plant must perform a production control using the monthly data on input, output and stock. The balances obtained from these data and the input compositions obtained from the characterisation processes allow very useful parameters to be obtained for determining whether the plant is operating correctly: Performance (%) = Light weight packaging sorting (kg) Total input (kg) LIGHT WEIGHT PACKAGING SORTING PLANTS
